I walk in legacy—
         A deeper royalty
Crowned in His-tory
        Heaven in bronze skin.

Wordsmith
Truth-speak
Love anchored to
Never be dismissed.

You will see my melanin
         Wrapped in feminine 
A gift, complex and living 
       His love still speaking.

Gifted
Lifted
Firm-footed to 
Never be shifted.

I make no apology
       For being a protégé
In grace, gently urging
       The world to savor Him.

A Poem on Wealth, Loss, and Eternal Worth

Riches fly away on paper-thin wings.
          Illusions of gain,
                    tumultuous green bills.
          I’m sitting calmly,
                    I’m pondering all this:
“Why do we count on fleeting monies?
          Isn’t our soul worth
                    more than
          the markets tumbling?”

When markets fall and numbers fade, our value doesn’t. Our true worth isn’t measured in currency—it’s sealed in eternity.
