About Lyrical Ethereal

Lyrical Ethereal is the poetic expression of Anino Omatsola — designer, writer, and spoken-word artist.

It started small: journals, prayer, breath — just me processing what I couldn't say out loud. But the real beginning goes further back, to a dark season I write about in a poem called "He Called." That's the season God's love pulled me out of — and the calling that followed, to carry that same love to everyone still finding their way through.

Drawing from a background in design and human-centered thinking, Lyrical Ethereal approaches poetry as space — a place where emotion, memory, spirit, and story can exist without rushing toward answers. These writings explore identity, womanhood, endurance, faith, and the shared human journey toward wholeness.

Over time, this work has grown into a body of poems gathered in four collections:

Whole in Him — poems of faith, identity, and divine love
Lotus in Bloom — poems of healing, growth, and becoming
Held Above the Waters — poems of endurance, pain, and restoration
Dear Person Who Looks Like Me, Dear Person Who Doesn’t — poems of humanity, difference, and shared belonging

Each collection reflects a different season of life, yet all are held by the same truth — that Sacred Love restores, His presence heals, and we are never meant to walk alone.

I'm just a normal person, like you, trying to create something that helps people feel uplifted, seen, and closer to God.
